Mykonos.. the 2nd Greek island on our travel plan

After staying 3D 2Ns in Santorini, we'll head to Mykonos via ferry. I heard the ferry ride which is about 2.5hours would be absolutely scenic.

Mykonos is famous for their windmills. Mykonos town, Chora is said to have more nightlife than Santorini. The island's most idyllic spot, Little Venice is a picturesque neighborhood at the southwest end of the port.




I found the Mykonos Grand Hotel via an online forum. Expensive but it's really looks nice so we gotta stay here for 1 night.

Santorini.. I'm sure I'll love the place

Have never thought of visiting Greece until I saw pictures of Santorini during the last Natas Fair. Was completely charmed by the white-washed buildings against the backdrop of clear blue sea.


It was said that Santorini has one of the best sunrise in the world.. in fact, one of the 100 must-visit place in the world...


We booked The Majestic Hotel in Santorini, Fira. Good thing is Europe is that published hotel rates includes Breakfast & Taxes. Good that it's not the peak season now. At EUR 215, we'll get a maisonette sea view. The room looks really modern with a living area and a bedroom upstairs.

Planning for the holiday

We're back at Changi Airport T3 for lunch and "pre-trip planning". Went back to Coffee Club since we like the natural sunlight & high ceiling.

Since I spent a few late nights planning the train & ferry route, I'm a bit complacent now. Started by fooling around with Photo Booth on my macbook and here's the results.. haha
